Janeiro Hotel Rio de Janeiro

Inaugurated in 2018, the Janeiro Hotel has quickly become one of the highlights of Rio de Janeiro’s hotel sector, receiving several international awards recognizing its excellence. Located on the cosmopolitan Leblon beach, the boutique hotel offers breathtaking views of the Leblon, Ipanema and Arpoador waterfronts, as well as icons such as Cristo Redentor and the majestic Morro Dois Irmãos.

An Innovative Retrofit Project

The retrofit project was designed by the talented architect Lia Siqueira, who created a space where each of the 47 rooms is bathed in natural light and refreshed by the sea breeze. The windows, as well as being functional, have been designed as real works of art, providing a unique connection with the exterior.

Hamam Global was responsible for the complete implementation of the development, ensuring that every detail was in perfect harmony. In the decoration, objects made by local artisans adorn the rooms, bringing an authentic and cultural touch that reflects the essence of Rio de Janeiro. The furniture in the social areas, direct from Bali, complements the tropical aesthetic, while the Trousseau + (linens) was (were custom made) made to measure, ensuring comfort and sophistication.

A Rio de Janeiro Lifestyle

Curated by businessman Oskar Metsavaht, the Janeiro Hotel encapsulates the Rio de Janeiro lifestyle, which is unpretentious but full of sophistication and sustainability ethics. The spaces were designed to reflect “the look” of Rio’s residences, promoting complete integration with nature and the surrounding urban beauty.

Conclusion

The Janeiro Hotel is not just a place to stay; it is an experience that celebrates the culture, design and beauty of Rio de Janeiro. With Hamam Global’s expertise in implementation and a curatorship that prioritizes authenticity and aesthetics, this boutique hotel stands out as a haven of luxury and a tribute to the Rio lifestyle. It’s a must-see destination for those who want to immerse themselves in the vibrant essence of the city.
